Swing arm operation The swing-type mounting arm minimizes space required for the installation of the tyre changer. Larger automotive tilt column machines can often take up too much valuable space in your workshop. The Manual-lock mounting head provides automatic adjustment of vertical clearance between mounting head and rim. A knob screw is provided to adjust horizontal position (diameter) at the same time. The mounting head is equipped with lever support and plastic protectors. The MTD300C tyre changer is equipped with a bi-directional, single-speed motor and a powerful pneumatic bead breaker especially designed for motorcycles, equipped with plastic protectors. An oil lubricator ensures long life from the pneumatic components and the built in regulator ensures you don't damage those precious carbon rims! This machine features a taller rear column allowing use with very wide custom rims, usually too wide for cheaper machines because the fitting arm will not lift high enough. The MTD300C is a rugged Italian made high quality tyre fitting machine with all the features found on more expensive machines, but at an entry level price. Features included:

1)       Rigid column / side arm design - this is the strongest and most wear-free configuration available for a tyre changer. By eliminating all the highly stressed and wear prone mechanisms found in "tilt-column" machines, this design will always maintain its integrity and strength. This ensures that rim protection and high accuracy is maintained over years of constant use. It is also the most compact configuration.

2)       Centrally aligned jaws - means that they are always at 90 degrees to any size wheel providing optimum centering & rim protection. Aligned jaws ensure perfect grip for all diameter wheel rims, which is why the range of wheels the MTD300C will accept is so comprehensive - 6 to 23 inches!

The MTD300C comes complete with pneumatic bead-breaker, tyre inflator, tyre lever, tyre lube etc. Replaceable polypropylene jaw pads & covers protect wheels at all times. The demount heads of the tyre changers are automatically raised clear from the wheel rim during use and have plastic inserts to be doubly safe.
